  1. Jo McKay says:

‘they’ would not even allow representatives into a ‘public paid for’ office? ‘they’ would not even accept letters from their own constituents? Like the refusal in Ottawa to allow National Chiefs entry…this is insult and huge disrespect. All Canadians with a conscience would be ashamed. Apologies are in order and from the RCMP as well who refused to deliver the letters. Those communities who can afford to live through retribution (because this government is a bully in that way – even after the famed public apology about residential schools, today this government is willing to watch children suffer, if they are angry with a community or it’s leaders – funding cuts are the hammer), so if those communities who can look after their own were to pay like with like (with media present to report) then when Ministers arrive for meetings; they can be stopped at the door or the airport and told NO you will have to go back home, we will not speak with you-and when Ottawa calls, demanding meetings, send a letter saying we respectfully decline; we will meet only with the Queens representative and have only one thing to say to the Governor General. As the only option in Canada for the removal of a Prime Minister we request the Governor General remove this Prime Minister. If the next PM is prepared to talk to us as equals and as partners we will be open to that. My own rant…peace -Maci
