With the holiday shopping season underway you may be tempted to buy goods from Indigenous artists and crafters.

But what are the rules around giving and wearing their work? Does it cross the line to cultural appropriation?

Artisans tell APTN News it’s OK to gift, receive and display their work as long as it’s original and not a knock-off.
