Will Indigenous Affairs start keeping track of fires on reserve?

Fire has claimed hundreds of lives on reserves across the country.

The causes can be attributed to substandard housing, overcrowded conditions or any number of problems that plague some First Nation communities.

In 2010 the federal government stopped keeping track about the number of people who die in those fires.

Now, there seems to be a change of heart.
