Now, even as the search continues for bodies, there are troubling questions being raised about how Canada transports oil.

Many train lines pass through Aboriginal territories and as APTN’s Danielle Rochette finds out if oil pipelines are rejected Canadians may need to accept the risks of rail.

    The headline for this video is misleading. The piece is not about accepting the risks of rail; instead, it talks about the risks of transporting oil by any means. Very important distinction.

    That’s a silly statement. There are alternatives to oil, and there are alternatives to dangerous and recklessly transported of oil.

    We can OBVIOUSLY reject both rail AND pipe. There is NO RIGHT to transport dangerous materials through our wilderness and communities.
