Homeless man battling addictions set to walk and raise money for centre that is helping him

A First Nations man in Ottawa is giving back to a centre this is helping him fight his addictions.

Ted Bignell is hoping that his steps will help make a difference during the upcoming Ottawa race weekend.

Annette is Anishinaabe from Alderville First Nation. She started at APTN as an Ottawa Correspondent in 2007 and has covered Indigenous issues from Parliament Hill and First Nation communities across Ontario. She has also freelanced for CBC Indigenous and Ricochet Media.
