Group in Montréal wants police to adopt Indigenous procedure to investigate violent crime against women

An advocacy group in Montréal wants police to include an Indigenous component in their procedure when investigating crimes against Indigenous women.

They say if Indigenous people are involved, families will be more likely to come forward to police.
