The Mohawk council of Kahnawake is raising serious concerns about a new law making its way through the Quebec legislature.
Bill-74 is aimed at preventing Quebec residents from being able to choose from different online gaming sites. The intention is to make Lotto Quebec an online monopoly.
But as Danielle Rochette reports, the Mohawks say that’s an infringement of their sovereignty and their territorial rights that extend into cyberspace.
