Fund set up to help kids who have aged out of system in B.C.


Life can be challenging for teenagers aging out of the foster care system.

Often they’re cut loose with few supports or money to help pay rent, bill or buy food.

For students who attending post secondary education a $2,000,000 fund has been set up to help ease some of the strain.

Twenty six per cent of the young people who have accessed fund are Indigenous.
