Front line workers sound the alarm over domestic abuse and empty shelters

According to several shelters for Indigenous women in Quebec, domestic violence does not end with COVID-19 lockdowns. In fact they say it’s quite the opposite.

They are afraid that some women are suffering abuse at home while spaces in their shelters are empty.
