From tragedy to chief and now Green candidate: Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi

APTN National News
Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi began her life from humble beginnings.

Her mother was murdered on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and she was taken into foster care at a young age.

She persevered and not only became chief of her community, but also earned a higher education.

Now, she’s running as a Green Party candidate in the Cowichan-Malahat-Langford riding on Vancouver Island.

APTN’s Tina House has the story.
