Not the first time Manitoba has promised to remove child welfare kids from hotels

APTN National News
News spread fast Wednesday of a young girl being attacked and left for dead in Winnipeg who was a ward of the state – housed in a hotel.

It’s since been learned a 15-year-old boy has been charged for the attack.

The province promised Wednesday to stop housing child welfare kids in hotels by June 1.
