First Nation in Nova Scotia takes steps to keep racism away from kids

There’s a reason kids are encouraged to participate in recreational events.

It’s where they learn leadership, fairness in sport and have fun.

But as we’ve seen in the past, there can also be a dark cloud hanging over such events in the form of racism.

It can come from parents, or the participants themselves.

One Nova Scotia First Nation isn’t putting up with it anymore.
