Why would traditional spirituality be banned? This is a free country. Anybody can practice what they want. If you want the old ways back (assuming it referres to hunting, fishing, gathering, etc) then the native spirituality should be included. Otherwise it is not genuine, will always have an element missing. As a non-aboriginal I would think even with medicinal and healing the native spiritual world can be a great help .
