Elders from across Quebec travelled to the Huron-Wendat territory to share their knowledge with young people who also travelled from different parts of the province.

More than 100 youth met with Elders to learn traditional ways of hunting and cooking as an example.

The weekend’s event was years in the making.

  1. I thought the Huron were located by Georgian Bay. As in Sainte Marie among the Huron.

    1. Wendake (Lorette) just north of Quebec city. Your correct on the “traditional” homeland before the dispersal.
