Speaking of Hate crimes… a northern Quebec Inuk woman visiting Montreal reported to the police an incident of being sucker punched by a man crossing in the opposite direction as she was walking across a street in the downtown Montreal. That was more than a random punch, Inuit frequent the area and are often not welcome due often to their street persons lifestyle. Generally the Des policiers du Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) show minimal concern with such incidents.
