Discarded gloves and masks could spread COVID-19

Seeing people wearing masks and gloves to protect themselves from COVID-19 is becoming a normal everyday occurrence.

But it’s creating a shocking amount of waste in places like Vancouver that could have potentially germ-spreading results.

Used discarded rubber gloves, masks and disinfectant wipes are being tossed carelessly in parking lots, sidewalks and downtown streets.
