I have been playing Jade Turner ever since she hit the Indigenous Music Countdown with “Worth”. Along with Murray Porter’s “Don’t Let Go” and Shawnee’s latest song, “Warrior Heart”, I hope to get the message across that we care about our Indigenous Youth. Being at the University of Western Ontario for 10 years on CHRW 94.9FM Radio Western has allowed me to help reach many people. Including the latest music show, Music Is The Medicine, added to Monday Mornings from 7am to 9am ET, I hope to reach the kids in the back of Mom’s car on the way to school.
