She says staff members and a store manager all said they were keeping a close eye on her because Aboriginal people have been known to steal stuff.

  1. I was a security guard and while talking to other security guards they would say no offence but Natives steal, so keep a close eye on them, I am First nations and this is a common belief among many security people sadly.

  2. stereotypical racists “pigs”!! so dam disgusting, come on ppl its the frigging 21st century!!

  3. Well that’s the last time I’ll be shopping at Vee Vee. I guess I’ll stick to Good Will 🙂

  4. I’m sure a lot more people other than aboriginal’s steal from them, since they are stealing from the public now that they have become a “for profit” organization. Whatever happened to selling stuff that the poor and disadvantaged could afford to raise money for your charities? The shit they sell these day’s is so overpriced you might just as well go out and buy “new”.

  5. The turn over of the staff at Value Village is very high. Staff is not trusted and their loss prevention stats show that the majority of their loss comes from internal theft. Tonnes of pressure are placed on the staff to meet targets. Training is minimal at best. Lessons! Big lessons on public relations for this company. I am glad to see them made accountable by this very Brave Woman who cared enough to speak out.

  6. from a store that has everything donated??? lost my business and my families….stick thier second hand stuff where the sun dont shine!

  7. the “settlers” are still stealing, pot calling the kettle black. their nation was founded by thieves, and the current PM is now thieving from his OWN people. gimme a break.

  8. I wonder why they charge tax on their items since the tax has already been paid on the item when it was new
