Consensus on tackling poverty hard to come by in Nunavut

Nunavut’s political system is built around consensus.

The Legislative Assembly is one of only two consensus-based systems in the country.

When they work with land claim groups, consensus is sought.

But as APTN’s Kent Driscoll discovered when they try to tackle poverty consensus makes for a very drawn out process.
