Co-founder of Sixties Scoop survivors group pens book about abuse

The co-founder of a Sixties Scoop survivors group that meets every year in a rural part of Ottawa, put a slight twist on the annual event.

This year, Colleen Cardinal brought along a book she has written about the abuse she suffered at during her stay in various foster homes.

Cardinal also writes about her sister who was murdered in 1990.

She presented the book to the gathering of survivors who were marking the fourth year in a row they have met to share their experiences.
