Cigarettes, massages and lottery tickets

APTN National News
According to a forensic audit, cigarettes, massages and lottery tickets were being charged as business expenses to Innu economic development limited partnership.

The audit was performed by Newfoundland and Labrador’s formal Auditor General.

The former CEO and chief financial officer were fired back in 2012 when it was found that their runaway salaries and undocumented expense claims were allegedly bleeding the company dry.

APTN’s Ossie Michelin has the details from our Labrador bureau.
