Chief doubts feds can fix Attawapiskat’s water woes

Canada’s Indigenous services minister has a plan to bring safe drinking water back to a northern Ontario first nation.

But Attawapiskat Chief Ignace Gull isn’t sure Seamus O’Regan can deliver a new water treatment plant.

He says a ‘band-aid’ solution won’t work when the needs run into the millions of dollars.
