Ceremonial gift to British explorer comes home

Captain James Cook, a famous British explorer, was the first person from Western civilization to make contact with the Nuu-chah-nulth people on the B.C. coast in 1778. He was presented with a ceremonial club as a gift — and now, over two hundred years later, that club has made its way back to its people.
