CAP says justice system should be handed over to Indigenous Peoples

The head of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP) is calling on the federal and provincial governments to turn control of the justice system to Indigenous Peoples.

Kim Beaudin, national vice chair of CAP says a recent case in Saskatchewan has made it clear that treatment of Indigenous Peoples in correctional facilities will not change without drastic action.
