Canada marks 10th anniversary of apology with acknowledgement that there is still a lot of work to do

It was 10 years ago June, 11 that the federal government gave an apology to the survivors of the residential school system.

150,000 Indigenous children were taken from their homes and put in schools run by the churches.

That era was acknowledged today in Ottawa as was the work that still needs to be done.
