Calgary police review death of Indigenous man after family questions evidence

 

Calgary police are reviewing an investigation into the death of a man from Piikani Nation.

Police say he died of an overdose.

But Tamara Pimentel tell us the family of the man questions the injuries they found on his body.

Tamara is Métis from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She received a diploma in interactive media arts at Assiniboine Community College in Brandon and has worked as a videographer for CBC in Winnipeg and Iqaluit.     Native ppl need thier own investigators , to make sure we get the same service as white ppl.
