Business forum tries to bridge the gap between First Nations, projects

Business, especially resource extraction, and First Nations are often depicted as sworn enemies.

Thursday in Ottawa, a business forum hosted by the Macdonald-Laurier Institute tried to dispel that myth.

The day’s discussions centred largely around the oil and gas industry where economic reconciliation may be impossible.
