Bureaucrats coming up with a plan to get Pope to apologize to residential school survivors

Bureaucrats within the Privy Council Office and the department of Foreign Affairs are trying to come up with a strategy to convince the Vatican that Pope Francis needs to come to Canada and make an apology to residential school survivors.

During the federal election, Justin Trudeau promised to implement the 94 recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation report.
