Barriere Lake battling logging on Algonquin land

A logging company has been granted a permit to start clearing ou a forest on Barrier Lake which is considered Algonquin land.

A logging company has been granted a permit to start clearing ou a forest on Barrier Lake which is considered Algonquin land.

For almost a week now, a small group of Barriere Lake residents are camping out, determined not to leave until they get some answers.

  1. government officials have trampoling over people rights for corporations long enough it’s time to stop these corporations that use the government to hide behind, it’s time officials stop being the corporation’s puppets! Corporations are not the elected officials yet they act like them!
