Backpack giveaway eases back-to-school financial crunch

Families in need got a little help with the high cost of back-to-school supplies in Saskatoon.

Hundreds of students lined up for the free bags being given away at White Buffalo Youth Lodge.

In all, 2,500 students benefited from the generosity of fertilizer company Nutrien and the Saskatoon Tribal Council.
