Australian hockey team trades in bush fires for a taste of Alberta’s frigid temperatures

At the moment any thought of Australia quickly turns to images of bushfires burning across the country.

But there’s a group that has arrived in Canada to experience wintertime and a taste of the cold rather than smoke.

Australia’s first Indigenous hockey team is in Alberta for a cultural exchange and to experience life in a Canadian rink.
