Algonquin issue warning about declining moose population in Quebec

The Algonquin say Quebec is ignoring their traditional knowledge that the moose population is in decline.

They say they will take more direct action to stop moose sport hunting in La Verendrye wildlife reserve on their land next hunting season.

That is if the government doesn’t address their concerns.
