Alberta marks 130th anniversary of Riel hanging

It is perhaps the darkest day in the history of the Metis peoples.

Monday marked the 130th anniversary of the hanging of Louis Riel.

The man who lead the Red River rebellion was found guilty of high treason and executed in Regina.
