Aboriginal boys encouraged to wear hair long in braids

Several Aboriginal men from various walks of life and backgrounds have come together in Saskatoon with the help of basketball phenom Michael Linklater.

It’s all to support and help inspire First Nations boys and teens to feel proud of wearing their hair long in braids.

APTN’s Larissa Burnouf has the story.

This is my baby worrier Marcos Gonzalez Big Sorrel Horse I never cut his hair since he was born just the top he is 15 year’s old and a Special need child taught him to be proud of his blood Native Proud !!! and a that is his hair is his power yup from the Blood Tribe Standoff Alberta and family in Nicaragua central America Proud Native .
