Throughout 2017 the city of Thunder Bay has been in the news. It started with Barbara Kentner, a First Nations woman who was hit by a trailer hitch that was thrown at her by a passing vehicle. Kentner died in July.
Then in May, all eyes would be on the community when two teenagers were found dead by waterways in Thunder Bay.
Investigations were launched into the police service, and people were trying to figure out how to keep young people safe.
