Yukon hopes “mental hubs” will keep people nearer to home when the need help

Yukon communities are expecting to have better access to mental health after the opening of four mental health hubs. Previously, people had to go to Whitehorse, or out of the territory for help.

Yukon communities are expecting to have better access to mental health after the opening of four mental health hubs.

Previously, people had to go to Whitehorse, or out of the territory for help.

The hubs, which will be a one-stop shop for people in crisis, are now open in Carmacks, Haines Junction, Watson Lake, and Dawson City.
