Alberni artwork brings Survivors back full circle

APTN National News
A landscape portrait of what was once home.

The face of a wolf, a fish caught in a net.

These scenes were all painted by children in the Alberni Indian residential school during the 1960’s.

Who travelled from Vancouver Island to Ottawa in order to display their paintings…

And tell their stories of reconciliation.

APTN’s Tom Fennario has the story.
