Pacific salmon: Why are they disappearing and what is being done to bring them back?


For the last number of years, salmon numbers in British Columbia and Yukon have been on the decline.

That means some First Nations communities haven’t been able to harvest salmon for sustenance or ceremony as they normally would.

This is having an impact on their culture and way of life.
