InFocus celebrates Indigenous innovators and asks, is it time for baseball to retire the ‘tomahawk chop?’

Did you know that kayaks, lacrosse, sunglasses, suspension bridges and even baby bottles came from Indigenous inventors?

Well, this week, countries around the globe celebrated World Inventors Day – so we at InFocus decided to call up and celebrate the Indigenous entrepreneurs who have that innovative spirit that keeps us all going.

As well as hearing from inventors, we’ll have a look at the sports world starting with Marc Andre Fleury’s new goalie mask – we’ll hear from the artist who designed and painted it.

Also, we’ll hear what you had to say about the Atlanta baseball team’s “tomahawk chop.” Is it time for Major League Baseball to leave it in the past?
