And according to TheFutureEconomy.ca, the Indigenous economy in Canada is estimated to be around $32 billion – and its growth is outpacing the national economy’s overall growth.

While it’s something to be excited about and proud of, the potential impact a booming Indigenous economy could have on families and communities is the real value.

But how do we participate in this colonized economy while holding true to our social and cultural values?
