Apology to 60s Scoop Survivors InFocus

aptn InFocus with Cheryl McKenzie:

For survivors of the 60’s Scoop, finding their birth families is not always possible.

Manitoba is the newest province to open its adoption records.  It also made an apology to the people who suffered.

Opening the adoption records opened the potential for long lost members to reunite.

In this edition two adoptees share what an apology means to them.

We also look back on the story of a man who found his son after searching for 35 years.
