‘We are taking a chance on the lives of our elders’: Pimicikamak pushes government to replace deteriorating care home

The push comes after the federal health minister announced $40M for a new hospital

After years of lobbying the federal government, Pimicikamak Cree Nation now has funding in place for a new hospital.

Now, the push is on for a better personal care home for aging loved ones.

Dennis is Metis from southern Manitoba.
