The Phoenix Sinclair Inquiry begins in Winnipeg

APTN National News
Six years ago, a little First Nations girl named Phoenix Sinclair was murdered by her parents.

Now – a public inquiry is finally getting underway.

But legal battles could still derail the hearings.

That’s because social workers who were responsible for the girl’s safety – now want their identities to be kept secret.

APTN’s Meagan Fiddler was at the hearing and she has this report.
