Winnipeg’s weekend festival, Manito Ahbee, began in the mostly Aboriginal neighbourhood notoriously known as the north end. It’s a place that is at times more associated with crime and poverty than music and fun.
But as APTN’s Matt Thordarson reports, families came out in big numbers to show off their spirit.
