Indigenous networks from around globe set to meet in Winnipeg

The world indigenous television broadcasting conference will be held in Winnipeg from June 19th to the 23rd.

APTN has been part of WITBN since it’s inception in 2008. The group spans continents and the world over.

Representing indigenous peoples in Australia, Canada, Finland, Hawaii, Ireland, Aotearoa, Norway, Paraguay, Scotland, Sweden, Taiwan and Wales.

APTN broadcast some of those stories on the National News. APTN’s CEO Jean Larose talks to Cheryl McKenzie about the conference.
