Federation of Saskatchewan Indians cuts salaries and comes up with long term plan to say afloat

The federation of Saskatchewan Indians is cutting positions and salaries to keep it’s doors open. The organization went through a massive funding cut from the federal government and has already laid off 66 people.

    This happened to our organization in 2012 announced big budget cuts, had a media event, low and behold I was the only one laid off, with close to 25 years of loyalty, I worked for so many years full time, was cut to 1/2 time, eventually my job was rubbed out, so they say, it wasn’t my fault. and at part time they had a big saving of $22,000. a year
