There are many reasons a woman in Yellowknife may need a safe place to stay.
She may be out of house and home because of mental health issues, domestic abuse or simply not enough money to pay the rent.
But right now – emergency housing is in very short supply – if available at all.
But as APTN’s Wayne Rivers reports – some local artists in Yellowknife are hoping to change that.
