Joye Braun: There will never be another Standing Rock but the movement has gone global

APTN Face To Face
The NoDAPL camps near Standing Rock may have been cleared out, but the movement created by the fight against that pipeline is spreading around the world.

One of those places is Eagle Butte, South Dakota on Cheyenne River Sioux Territory. That’s where we catch up with Joye Braun. Braun was one of the first four people to camp out in Standing Rock. She’s now part of the Wapka Was’te camp in Eagle Butte, continuing the fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline and gearing up to take on Keystone XL.

Host Dennis Ward joins Braun from the camp for a Face to Face to reflect back on Standing Rock and look ahead to what’s next for the movement.
