The second round of baseball games began Tuesday morning at the North American Indigenous Games.

And the first game of the day was a nail biter.

In the end, Team Eastern Door defeating Team Saskatchewan by just a run.

It’s awesome to see young indigenous atheletes out there not letting their hearing impairment get in the way. I myself am a mother to a 8 yr old boy that is deaf. This hasn’t stopped him from the sports he loves, hockey is his main love but he’s actively involved in soccer, and baseball as well 🙂 stories like this gives us more hope for the future, WAY TO GO!
